To develop and apply a Brand Identity for a boutique giftware studio established in the early 1990’s to supply merchandise to arts institutions on both sides of the Atlantic. At the time galleries and museums were looking for income sources other than Ticket Sales, Memberships, and Donations they turned their attention to their Gift Shops. The public were demanding a greater variety of goods, often less academic than previously available (the Met in New York was a pioneer in this field). In the end, several hundred designs by Giles Rushton, often using architectural drawings by artist Marian Rushton were reproduced on everything from Note Cards to Teacups. |
